Memorial Day weekend

I have no time to post lengthy narratives so here is a list of the things I did during the Memorial Day long weekend -

1. Dinner and drinks at the Slanted Door at the Ferry Building.  The cocktails were great, the bartender friendly and the women next to us were amusingly drunk.
2. Buying tickets to a “Tainted Love” concert from a scalper.  Flirting shamelessly to get $2 off. HAHA.
3. Dancing and singing along to a great 80s cover band.
4. Standing in the QUEUE (not line) for pizza that I was too full to eat.
5. Drinking a very very large mug of hot chocolate.
6. Watching throngs of oddly dressed people at the fanime convention in San Jose.
7. Working at a cafe with a cup of peppermint tea and some sort of European pastry.
8. A really home-cooked yummy laksa and satay dinner.
9. A super amusing game of telephone pictionary.
10. A great policy discussion about the future of Singapore.
11. Watching Ugly Betty for the first time!
12. A yummy yummy Indian lunch.  I wish I remembered the name of that eggplant dish.
13. Watching a really long, really bizarre Bollywood movie.
14. Heading out to a really really cold beach to start a fire! 
15. Eating smores and sausages for dinner.  Shiyan made me a smore with graham cracker walls.  Gooey!
16. Watching Murray dream.
17. Getting a decent amount of sleep!  Not something to be taken for granted.
18. Leftover laksa for breakfast.
19. Picking cherries!  Taking photos of cherries!  So. Many. Cherries.
20. Home-made pizza and lots of salad!  *yum*

Gotta love a long weekend.  I needed the break.
